Grunge Tag
What you will need.. Photoshop & Alienskin Eyecandy

1.) Open up a new image 500x500 will do
2.) Make a Square with your Preset shape tool..
(I made mine More of a Rectangle shape)
3.) Now grab your Square shape again and make a smaller
rectangle
Like soo......
4.) Now grab the cirlce preset shape.. And make that just
a little smaller than the last rectangle you made
(I had to go to edit transform/scale to get it just the
way I wanted)
Like sooo...
5.) Now Merge ALL layers
6.) No grab your eraser tool.. Size 24 and put it smack
in the middle at the top..
Like so.....
Now to make it grunged
1.) Right click on layer and go to blending styles...
2.) Click on Bevel and use these settings..
3.) Open Texture file attatched.. Go to Edit DEFINE pattern.
4.) Now go back to you tag right click on the layer and
click Blending options.
5.) Click on pattern overlay ... Click pattern you should
see the pattern you just made..
6.) Go to Color overlay and Pick a color for your Tag..
(I used a brown color, but it doesn't have to be same as
mine)
7.) Now change the opacity of the color overlay until you
like it.. Click okay
Now because for some odd reason we cant burn on this layer
we need to work around it!! Lol
8.) duplicate layer
9) right click on layer and merge visible
Now our styles are gone weee...
10) Now grab your burn tool.. Use these settings..
11) Now go around the edges making the corners the darkest..
THIRD PART ( Metal Chain)
1.) Grab your preset circle tool and make on small cirlce..
2.) Go to Filters Alien skin 4000 chrome
3) use these settings
4.) Now duplicate this layer and move it to where you want
it.
5.)Once you get a selection of like 4 together hide your
tag layer and merge visible..
(they don't have to be straight make them go in a
slight curve)
6) Now go to edit transform/rotate and rotate and move
your second piece like so
The goal here is to make it all connect..you can use your
arrow keys to move it the tiny bits you need..
But just keep duplicating those layers until you get it
to be a circle.
7.) Now once you have all the beads together they way you
want them merge visible
8.) Now right click on your chain layer and duplicate it..
9.) Now make your tag layer visible
10) Take your duplicated chain layer and move it under
your tag. And make sure the other one is above it
11) you want them to be exactly in the same place...
12) Grab your eraser tool and be sure to be on the top
chain layer.
Erase the parts you don't want to make it look looped through
the hole.
12.) now hide your tag layer again and merge visible again..
13.) now right click on your chain layer and go to blending
options and click on shadow..
Make a shadow at your own settings.. Whichever looks best
to you..
14)And now unhide your tag layer and right click and merge
visible..
And you are all done!!
